Fishing Stories
"Unfortunately my first time out on Lake Michigan this year wasn't until Friday June 30th. It started out bad when I took off my garage door trim with my trailer at 2:30 in the morning. I set up at 4:00 am out of Kewaunee and it turned out to be a good day. I had my limit of 5 Kings by 6:30am. One was a 24 pounder, the biggest I've caught in a number of years. I caught it on a dodger fly on a wire line dipsy 100ft. out. When you've got the dipsy reeled to the rod tip and can't reach the fish with the net, it's quite a helpless feeling. I managed to get it in the net on the third try. The ultimate in thrills(or stupidity) is to fish Lake Michigan by yourself.
On Sunday Darin in sales and myself caught 3 Kings and a Coho. The fish can be fickled, as we caught them all on Pro King spoons up high on Sunday and on Friday they hit on everything at all depths.

Here's a picture of Luke Valitchka and his daughter Zoe. Luke thought he'd breakin his new Lund Mr. Pike 17 on the Fox this spring and look what Zoe hooked on to. It gave them quite a fight and some thrills first time out.
