Question of the Month

The Question of the month is "What can a boat owner do to stop the problems associated with Ethanol in gas?"

Two things can be done to help. The first has to do with the tendency of Ethanol in fuel to absorb water out of the air. Water can then gradually build up in your fuel tank and cause all kind of problems. You can add a water separating fuel filter. Yamaha is even asking that all new boats being sold with their motors have them installed. Call our service department for details.

The second is to always run fuel stabilizer in your gas. Ethanol will cause fuel to get bad much sooner than in the past.
